Optional: Visit the stunning Entebbe Botanical Gardens
After breakfast, meet your safari driver and begin your journey to Kibale National Park. Traveling via the Mityana – Mubende - Fort Portal route, you will enjoy a scenic drive featuring striking rock formations, expansive tea plantations, and picturesque countryside views. After approximately six hours on the road, you will arrive in Fort Portal for lunch before continuing to Kibale. Spend the rest of your evening at leisure, soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge in Kibale.
This morning, go for a chimpanzee trek, listening to the forest's silence as you meet man’s closest cousins. Kibale Forest is also home to 300 species of birds. Spend 1 uninterrupted hour taking photos and videos as you also learn their behaviour.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. This afternoon, we will go on a nature walk in the Bigodi community.
Included: Chimpanzee trekking, Bigodi Nature Walk
Optional: Community visit, Bird watching around Bigodi
Today is dedicated to a cultural immersion experience in Bigodi Village, as part of your 7-day Uganda safari. You will engage in a variety of community-based activities, including a guided coffee tour where you will learn about the entire process, from planting to traditional preparation. You will also participate in local food preparation, visit community institutions developed through the Bigodi Community Walk Project, and meet women’s groups who craft beautiful handmade items using materials sourced from the nearby Bigodi swamp.
Day 5 offers a light adventure followed by a scenic journey back to the city. After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll check out and head out to explore the crater lakes around Kibale and Fort Portal. One of the highlights will be a hike to the “Top of the World” viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views of Uganda’s stunning landscape.
From there, you’ll drive to Fort Portal for lunch before beginning your return trip to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening.
Included: Crater Lake exploration
After breakfast, you will relax or do a short city tour, and depending on the time for your flight, the driver guide will drop you off at the airport for your departure.

I found the service and response of this travel agency to be excellent. Easily 5-stars. The Travel guide, who doubled as a driver too, was time conscious and a great advisor when it came to planning and managing our time, since we were travelling from Gulu through the parkThis tour was over-the-top fantastic, Our guide/Driver-Arafat, spoke fluent English that was clear, this made the tour "standard." He was also very knowledgeable about the different animal species, and explained in detail, that was excellent Arafat was friendly and courteous, and he consistently slowed down just to explain and give more information about the animals and giving us enough time to take pictures and videos! making it a very enjoyable tour And, I'd do it again "for the experience."Date of experience: March 2023Posted on Franziska73211 October 2022Verified Amazing Experience with a great team!
